The following is the public meeting that was held in Brooklyn while we were down with you folks in Houston. I'll put as much as I can on this track on side one, and it will continue on track one, side two. Reverend Purdy, guests, fellow AA members, the Brooklyn groups of Alcoholics Anonymous wish to welcome you to our first special events meeting of 1967. My name is Jerry T. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. And that's it in a nutshell. The success stories that have resulted from a stay in Mount Carmel Hospital would fill volumes. For our first speaker, I would like to give you the medical director of Mount Carmel Hospital, Dr. Canavan. Thank you. First of all, I'd like to thank you for inviting me to come to the meeting this afternoon. It's always a pleasure to see so many familiar faces in an…
