Thank you so much, Janice. Now comes the hard part. There we go. Hey, great. I'm glad he got a chair. Good morning, everybody. My name is Sandy Beach, and I'm an alcoholic. How are you all doing? And I want to thank Janice for organizing this again. What a lovely idea to take Thanksgiving morning out here at the beach and celebrate our great society known as Alcoholics Anonymous. I was thinking what would be good to talk about this morning. And of course, gratitude is always part of Thanksgiving, but on the other hand, it's part of the whole year once we get in AA. And it's a new way of looking at things through the glasses of gratitude. And when we do, it looks different, and we like it. One way of looking at AA is that it's a story. And you're now part of the story. And if you're lucky, you'll stay part of the story. And 25 years from now, people will be talking about how they knew Maria when they came in, or they knew Jane, or they knew Fred, and how lucky they were to know. And we're going, well, why would they be lucky to know me? I've only been in three months. But you're just starting as part of this story. Bill Wilson used to describe AA, he loved to end his talks by talking about the alcoholic living in the dark cave all by himself. And someone came along with a little candle. And it was somebody calling on the alcoholic from AA. And they brought the candle into the cave. And the person hadn't seen light in a long time. Just that little candle. Is anybody in here? Give me your hand. I'll show you how to get out of here. And out he went. And he followed that person. Who's also following his or his sponsor. Who's following his sponsor. And there's an endless parade…
