What Does It Mean To Be Human?

To be human is to be both Angel and Beast. The same mind can do great harm or great good. Emotions determine my human response.

Every human has self-will and God will never interfere in my ability to reason. Every time I need God’s help, I must let go of the old idea which is blocking me.

To be human is to be limited and yet, to want more, more money, more power, more control. I can do some things but I can’t do everything. I can be some things but I can’t be everything. I am Not-God. Acceptance of human limitation is the key to recovery.

We are all the same in many ways like we have all got the same human body, nature, feelings and and so on. But if you observe deeply you will find that every human being has different traits and habits and that is what makes him/her unique.

Personality refers to the combination of qualities, attitudes and behavior, that makes a person distinct from others. Character refers to a set of moral and mental qualities and beliefs that makes a person different from others.

Personality implies who we seem to be.On the other hand, character represents who we really are. When drunks compare their insides with another person’s outsides, they lose.

Ernst Becker said – “Man is a God who shits!”
