Original RULE 62 Card

This is a rare piece of A.A. memorabilia.

You have read about the super-promoter on pages 148 &149 of our 12&12 book who requested an A.A. Charter. He wanted to combine a clubhouse, medical treatment center, and employment agency, all under the A.A. name. He even set up three corporations with a list of 61 by-laws and rules.

After his idea failed he added the next rule — “Rule 62”.

This original card was one that was sent out by the super-promoter with the simple message that reads;

“Don’t take yourself too Damned Seriously!” There aren’t many of these old original cards left. No one knows how many were originally printed. Some believe that it was likely about 500.
