Thank you. I have been to a lot of dos like this, and I’ve been greeted in a lot of funny ways, but I have never had a greeting like that before. Last time I heard that much happy yelling was when I joined the A. That was the Oshawa Police Force. We were doing the cheering. That international speaker, I want you to know, we’ll take the blame here. That was Clancy. Thank you very much. I have a very good friend of mine by the name of Gerry Delaney, and she told me one time, she said, “You know, the brain is the most wonderful thing in the world. It starts to work the instant you’re born, and it never, ever stops until you stand up in front of one of these podiums.” Yeah. And that’s so true. It really is. I don’t think there’s anybody left out there in Omaha that’s drinking. I think you’re all here. But I’ll tell you, I’m certainly glad you’re here. And before I forget, I’d like to thank Jim and the committee for asking me down here.

He told me, “Come on down and share a little conference,” he said he was having down here. He hasn’t told the truth yet. But, uh, it’s really fantastic. But I am thrilled to be here, and I’m very, very grateful. And every time I come to one of these dos, you know, it just amazes me how you pick out the people to participate in these meetings. I’ve met so many wonderful people over the last day and so many good talkers just talking one-on-one. I don’t know how you pick the speakers to come in to these meetings. It always reminds me of a story I tell quite a bit, but it seems to fit so well. Reminds me of a salesman I heard about in Northern Ontario. In Northern Ontario, we get a lot of snow up there in the wintertime. And he was traveling up Northern Ontario in the winter one night, and he looked down at his gas gauge, and it’s about nine o’clock at night, and he, all of a sudden, he discovered he was almost out of gas.

So he pulled into a local gas station to get some gas, and he discovered they were closed for twelve hours. So he went over to a little local hotel to check in, and he found out they just rented the last room. So he explained his predicament to the hotel clerk, and the hotel clerk said, “Well, I don’t know what we can do.” He said, “We just rented out the last room.” He said, “But wait a minute.” He said, “That last room we rented out,” he said, “we rented out to a young lady.” And he said, “I think there’s a couch in her room. Let’s go up and explain your predicament to her. Maybe she’ll let you sleep on the couch.” So they went up to the room, and he knocked on the door, and he– desk clerk explained the predicament to the young woman.
