Here's another older tape. I imagine, Bill, that you knew Lefty Henderson. He's passed on as well as Einar. Lefty was with the Yale Foundation. He had quite a few honors during his life, was a terrific AA member. Bonnie and I heard Lefty at one of our first big AA talks. This was at the Indiana State Convention in the early 50s. I think it was 1953. And at that time I thought he was the greatest. Still do. If you have never met Lefty, he looked a little bit like Wallace Berry, I would say, and talked a little bit like him. He came to AA in Chicago, according to my information, in 1940. That was 17 years ago. That's a long time in anybody's book. He has spoken to AA groups in 46 states and in five provinces in Canada. And he is now the industrial consultant at the Yale Center of Alcohol Studies. Ladies and gentlemen, I am very proud to introduce to you tonight, Ralph M. Henderson, commonly known as the Leslie. I have more microphones here than they do at the Republican National Convention. Ladies and gentlemen, fellow thought. I know that you know that I feel the pleasure of being here with you. It's a wonderful tribute to me to be invited to come this long distance at your expense to make a talk to you. And I am signally honored. And as the mayor was up here addressing you tonight, I couldn't help but think with a little fear and…
