The number of talks that I've recorded down there, I have about 150. Let's see, the last tape recorded was tape 142, but there's parts of two meetings on that. And assuming that you have an average of four meetings to a tape, and I have, I would estimate, about 125 tapes devoted to AA, that would be about 500 talks. But some of the talks I've been eliminating, I haven't been satisfied with for one reason or another, and some of them I've copied on other tapes to fill up space. You'll notice on this tape now, which I'm using, there's enough for at least two talks. But it's pretty hard to do that when you want to record a whole meeting in sequence, so lately I've been trying to eliminate either the so-called leader at the meeting, or else I have been just eliminating the leader's remarks and putting on only the speaker's. But I've had a lot of fun doing this, and I hope you people have received some benefit from them. I have a lot more tapes yet to send you, even though I do cut down on the recording this summer. Coming back to vacation, I did think of going to Nova Scotia again, like I did last year, but I couldn't get the time, the particular time I wanted. I can't do that this year, so I doubt if I will go, although I'll probably go northward up into the New England states anyway, and possibly to Montreal. In that case, I naturally would stop and say hello to Andy in Plattsburgh. But that's the way matters stand for now. Well, anyway, the hour is getting late, and I'll close this off and let you people go on with your listening of the tapes. If Claire gets to Colorado City, I give her my greetings too, and I'll probably see her in Montreal sometime before the end of the year. I'd sure like to hear from you sometime. Well, the best of luck. Good night for now. This is Gil Baker signing off, June the 2nd, 1954.
