Following is a talk that Bonnie made at Lexington, Kentucky, June 19, 1966. It runs about 60 minutes long. This was at an AA quarterly meeting for the eastern section around Lexington of Kentucky. Because we wanted to have a top speaker and someone that has had the experience, and certainly she has had it because she's been speaking everywhere. So it's with a great deal of pleasure today that I introduce to you Bonnie Fumpadupa. Thank you, Chair. I rearrange. That's my prerogative. My name is Bonnie. Hi. I don't know what I'm going to do with it there. We'll work sideways? All right. And I want to get this very clear about being a top speaker, Chair. So that gives you a little starter. And as I was saying about speaking, the reason I find that so very ironic is because I am a foreigner. I was born in Germany, and it was not until I came into AA that I realized that that was at all important. As a matter of fact, I had tried to forget it. I didn't even want to be reminded of it because it was a very bad time for me. And in AA, I had a great deal of trouble,…
